It shows protesters in Johannesburg, South Africa, calling for the boycott of Apartheid Israel, on January 2, 2009. This was during the Israeli aerial bombardment of Gaza.
Notice the raised shoe in the upper right-hand side of the photo. It indicates a profound disrespect for the occupation of both Iraq and Palestine.
